Automatic for the People REM 1992 Se lo que hay que decir. El mejor disco de REM. Lo mejor que hicieron. Nunca fueron los mismos. Desafortunadamente no estoy de acuerdo. Y digo desafortunadamente porque cuando todo el mundo parece estar de acuerdo en la grandeza de algo y tu no ... es que eres tu el que falla. Lo escuche hasta la saciedad en mis años estudiantiles. Inevitablemente me recuerdo saltandome las canciones en busca de Ignoreland y Monty Got a Raw Deal. Un poco de rabia. Con el tiempo aprecie (y aprecio) como obras maestras Nightswimming y Find the River ... pero el resto ... bueno si tengo Green y Document y New Adventures, Monster y Lifes Rich Pageant ... en fin.

The Best of Leonard Cohen Leonard Cohen 1975 El recopilatorio clasico de Leonard Cohen. Nunca he sido su mas acerrimo fan pero siempre que me pongo con el, consigo acercarme bastante. Su imagen y sus historias me llegan al igual que lo hace su forma de cantar. Siempre le he imaginado como una especie de Julio Iglesias melancólico y más bien tristón que, obviamente, sabe hacer buena musica. Un tipo que tenia en el sexo opuesto su principal objetivo. Tal vez no sea así, pero por lo que he leido no debió andar manco el señor. Hoy es objeto de veneracion con discos en los que abusa de esa voz grave aunque sinceramente no encuentro nunca canciones de la inspiracion de Chelsea Hotel nº2, Famous Blue Raincoat, The Partisan etc...
